KW-027 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by Kawin Technology for the treatment of chronic Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It is part of Kawin's comprehensive HBV pipeline, which also includes siRNA (KW-026) and peginterferon (KW-021) candidates, aimed at achieving a functional cure for the disease. KW-027 is designed to target and neutralize HBV-related antigens, likely the Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), to facilitate viral clearance and restore the host's immune response.
