KX7105

KX7105 is an investigational small molecule histamine H1 receptor antagonist being developed by Chengdu Baiyu Pharmaceutical. It is primarily designed for the treatment of acute urticaria, a condition characterized by the rapid onset of pruritic wheals and erythema. By selectively binding to and inhibiting the H1 receptor, KX7105 blocks the physiological effects of histamine, which is the central mediator in the development of urticarial lesions and itching. The drug is administered orally and aims to provide a rapid onset of action with a favorable safety profile. As of 2024, KX7105 is undergoing Phase II clinical trials in China to evaluate its efficacy and safety in patients with acute urticaria.
