KY88 Liver Livo

**KY88 Liver Livo** is a multi-herb traditional Chinese medicine preparation containing *Radix Bupleuri* and described in the literature as a blend of 10 herbal extracts. In cell-based studies, a methanol extract inhibited proliferation of HB8064 hepatocellular carcinoma cells in a dose-dependent manner and produced DNA-laddering consistent with apoptosis; increased interleukin-4 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha were also reported. Separate in-vitro work found lymphocyte stimulation and dose-dependent granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor secretion.
