Kylo-01 is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic candidate developed by Kylonova (Xiamen) Biopharma for the treatment of liver-related metabolic diseases, specifically non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The drug utilizes Kylonova's proprietary Nano-Lipid Particle Delivery Platform (NPDP), which encapsulates the siRNA in multi-lipid nanoparticles to ensure stability in the bloodstream and efficient delivery to target liver cells. By leveraging the RNA interference (RNAi) mechanism, Kylo-01 is designed to silence specific genes involved in the pathogenesis of NASH, thereby reducing liver inflammation and steatosis. As of early 2026, the candidate is in the preclinical development stage.
