Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KYLO-11 is an LPA-targeted small interfering RNA (siRNA) developed by Hygieia Pharmaceuticals and Kylonova (Xiamen) Biopharma co., LTD. It is designed to significantly reduce the expression of lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)) levels. The drug is being investigated for the treatment of hyperlipidemia and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Clinical trial results indicate that a single subcutaneous injection of KYLO-11 can achieve a greater than 95% Lp(a) reduction with a long-lasting effect, potentially for more than 12 months, and has exhibited a favorable safety profile. It leverages Hygieia's proprietary MVIP platform for efficient hepatic delivery of siRNA.
