Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KYLOACE-SP is a fixed-dose combination tablet containing aceclofenac (100 mg), paracetamol (325 mg), and serratiopeptidase (15 mg). Developed by Kylon Remedies, this formulation is designed to provide synergistic relief from pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of inflammatory prostaglandins. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, primarily targeting the central nervous system to alleviate pain and reduce fever. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down abnormal proteins, fibrin, and inflammatory exudates at the site of injury, which helps reduce localized edema and promotes tissue repair.
