KYS202003A is an investigational recombinant oncolytic virus therapy developed by Jiangsu Kanion Pharmaceutical for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Based on a viral platform (typically Herpes Simplex Virus type 1, oHSV-1), the agent is engineered to selectively replicate within and lyse malignant cells while sparing normal tissue. This selective replication leads to direct oncolysis and the subsequent release of tumor-associated antigens and danger signals, which are intended to stimulate a robust systemic anti-tumor immune response. KYS202003A is administered via intratumoral injection and is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor efficacy in patients with refractory or advanced solid tumors who have exhausted standard treatment options.
