Drug intelligence / Profile preview
L-CTM is a liquid formulation of decellularized placental connective tissue matrix (CTM) developed by Celularity. It is derived from human placental connective tissue and is designed for the management and protection of tendon injuries. As a decellularized biomaterial, L-CTM aims to provide a regenerative scaffold that supports tenocyte functionalities, including adhesion and proliferation, while minimizing immunogenicity and promoting tissue integration. In preclinical studies, L-CTM has been evaluated alongside other placental-derived biomaterials, such as particulate and flowable formats, to assess its biomechanical properties and its ability to support tendon healing and phenotype maintenance in models of tendon insult.
