Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**L-ICG** is an investigational locally injected fluorescent imaging formulation composed of indocyanine green and lidocaine mucilage. It was developed for near-infrared fluorescence image-guided breast-conserving surgery, where peritumoral administration enables real-time visualization of the tumor boundary and supports intraoperative margin assessment. In a prospective study in patients with breast cancer, L-ICG-guided surgery was associated with a final positive-margin rate of 1.9% after intraoperative management; no serious adverse events were reported.
