Drug intelligence / Profile preview
L-Kvercet is a liposomal oral suspension of quercetin developed and manufactured by Biolik (Farmstandart-Biolik) in Ukraine. Formulated as a dietary supplement, it delivers quercetin in a liposomal delivery system to enhance bioavailability, alongside the amino acid glycine. Quercetin is a natural plant flavonoid with potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cardioprotective properties. It acts as a pleiotropic inhibitor of key inflammatory and oxidative enzymes, including arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase (ALOX5), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K). L-Kvercet is approved and marketed in Ukraine for the normalization of cardiovascular function, as a supportive agent during post-stroke and post-operative rehabilitation, for the repair of gastrointestinal erosions and ulcers, and for respiratory protection against oxidative stress.
