Drug intelligence / Profile preview
L6 + interleukin-2 is a combination immunotherapy approach that combines murine monoclonal antibody L6 (MoAb L6) with subcutaneous interleukin-2 (IL-2). This combination was investigated in a phase I clinical trial for patients with refractory adenocarcinoma, where L6 was administered at 200 mg/m² intravenously daily for 7 days, followed by a one-week rest period, and then IL-2 was given subcutaneously at doses ranging from 2 to 4.5 × 10⁶ U/m² daily for 4 days over 3 weeks. The combination showed immunomodulatory effects and was generally well-tolerated in the outpatient setting.
