Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lacriact is a preservative-free ophthalmic medical-device eye drop formulated to relieve symptoms of dry eye disease by providing lubrication and protection to the ocular surface through localized physical action rather than pharmacological or immunological mechanisms.[15] It is being evaluated in an open, non-comparative clinical trial for performance and tolerability in patients with dry eye, where its primary role is to stabilize the tear film, reduce discomfort, and improve ocular surface integrity.[13][15]
