Overview
Lacteol-Nitrolingual is not a recognized pharmaceutical product or combination therapy. The name appears to be an erroneous concatenation of two distinct brands marketed by G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co. KG: **Lacteol** and **Nitrolingual**. Lacteol is a probiotic preparation containing inactivated *Lactobacillus LB* (a combination of *Lactobacillus fermentum* and *Lactobacillus delbrueckii*) used for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea. Nitrolingual is a sublingual spray formulation of nitroglycerin (glyceryl trinitrate), a vasodilator used for the acute relief and prophylaxis of angina pectoris. These two products have entirely different active ingredients, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic indications. Because they are distinct clinical entities, this entry is marked as incorrect.
