Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lactiale is a probiotic cocktail composed of Lactobacilli, Bifidobacteria, and Streptococcus thermophilus. It is being investigated as a therapeutic approach for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). In clinical trials, it has shown to mitigate liver inflammation by significantly reducing serum ALT levels, decreasing liver stiffness, and improving metabolic markers such as BMI and serum cholesterol. Its mechanism involves modulating the gut microbiota composition towards a normal pattern.
