Lactiplantibacillus plantarum B411 is a specific strain of lactic acid bacteria. Its cell-free supernatants (CFS) have demonstrated anti-biofilm activity against *Listeria monocytogenes* strains, including those isolated from avocado and cucumber fruits and an avocado processing plant. The CFS effectively reduced the ability of *L. monocytogenes* to form biofilms and disrupted the integrity of pre-formed biofilms. This anti-biofilm effect is associated with a significant reduction in the expression of the positive regulatory factor A (*prfA*) gene in *L. monocytogenes* biofilm cells. These findings suggest that Lactiplantibacillus plantarum B411, or its derivatives, could be utilized as food-grade sanitizers for controlling *L. monocytogenes* biofilms in food processing environments.
