Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lactoangin Baby is an over-the-counter (OTC) oral spray developed by IBSS Biomed for the supportive treatment of throat and oral cavity infections in children aged 1 year and older. The formulation contains a concentrated supernatant of metabolites (postbiotics) produced by lactic acid bacteria of the *Lactobacillus* genus. These metabolites, including organic acids and bacteriocins, exhibit antimicrobial properties against pathogens such as *Streptococcus pyogenes*, *Staphylococcus aureus*, and *Candida albicans*. By creating an unfavorable environment for pathogenic colonization and helping to restore the natural microbiological balance of the throat, Lactoangin Baby alleviates symptoms of inflammation, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis.
