Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A probiotic combination of Lactobacillus delbrueckii and Lactobacillus rhamnosus that acts as an immunomodulator, antimicrobial agent, and aids in cell growth and proliferation. This combination enhances production of anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-10, TGF-β) while reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-12, IL-1β, TNF-α), suggesting polarization toward the M2 macrophage phenotype. It can significantly alter macrophages' capability to stimulate CD4+ T cells and has been studied for effects on autoimmune conditions.
