Overview

Lactobacillus rhamnosus CCFM1131 is a specific probiotic strain of the species Lactobacillus rhamnosus, a lactic acid bacterium commonly found in the human gut and used as a dietary supplement. This particular strain has demonstrated potential for reducing serum uric acid levels and alleviating hyperuricemia, likely through inhibition of xanthine oxidase activity in serum and liver. As with other L. rhamnosus strains, it is considered to have beneficial effects on gut microbiota modulation and may offer additional health benefits related to metabolic regulation[10].
