Lactobacillus rhamnosus IDCC 3201 tyndallizate (RHT3201) is a postbiotic developed by Ildong Bioscience, consisting of heat-killed (tyndallized) bacterial cells from the strain *Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus IDCC 3201*. [1] It functions as an immunomodulator by improving the balance between Th1 and Th2 immune responses. [12] The mechanism involves down-regulating type 2 helper T (Th2) cytokines like IL-4 and IL-31 while up-regulating type 1 helper T (Th1) cytokines such as IL-12 and IFN-γ, which leads to a reduction in serum immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels. [12, 14, 15] It has been clinically investigated for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in children, where it demonstrated significant improvements in SCORAD scores. [8, 9] It is also being studied for its benefits in gastrointestinal health. [2] RHT3201 has been approved in Korea as a 'Functional Ingredient for Health Functional Foods' for skin health and received a letter of no objection as a New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) from the U.S. FDA. [1, 7]
