Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lactobiogen is a probiotic dietary supplement developed by Laves-Arzneimittel GmbH to support intestinal health and the immune system. It contains a concentrated blend of four specific lactic acid-producing bacterial strains: *Bifidobacterium lactis* BB-12, *Lactobacillus acidophilus* LA-5, *Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus* LBY-27, and *Streptococcus thermophilus* STY-31. These strains are delivered in a capsule form designed to survive stomach acid and colonize the intestinal tract. The product is primarily used to restore natural intestinal flora, particularly following antibiotic treatment, and to maintain overall digestive and immune function. It is free from common allergens such as lactose, gluten, and soy, and contains no animal-derived ingredients.
