Overview
Lactopy is a probiotic dietary supplement developed by the South Korean biotechnology company Probionic. The product's primary active ingredient is the proprietary probiotic strain *Lactobacillus sakei* Probio65™, which was originally isolated from traditional Korean fermented kimchi. Lactopy is primarily positioned for the management of atopic dermatitis and the improvement of skin health through immunomodulation. The *L. sakei* Probio65 strain has been shown in clinical studies to help balance the gut microbiome and regulate immune responses, specifically by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and reducing serum IgE levels.
