LAG3 aptamer inhibitor

LAG3 aptamer inhibitor is a preclinical nucleic acid aptamer candidate developed by Shanghai Microbio Technology. It is designed to target lymphocyte activation gene 3 (LAG-3), an immune checkpoint receptor expressed on activated T cells, natural killer cells, and regulatory T cells. By binding to LAG-3, the aptamer blocks its interaction with major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules and other ligands, thereby preventing inhibitory signaling and restoring T-cell activation and proliferation. The candidate is being investigated for potential applications in cancer immunotherapy (immuno-oncology) and autoimmune disorders.
