Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lailotinib (HEC74647) is an orally bioavailable, small-molecule multi-kinase inhibitor developed by Guangdong Dongyangguang Pharmaceutical (HEC Pharm). It acts as a potent inhibitor of the Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor (FGFR) family, including FGFR1, FGFR2, and FGFR3, as well as the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor (VEGFR) and Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor (PDGFR). By blocking these signaling pathways, lailotinib inhibits both tumor cell growth and the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) within the tumor microenvironment. The drug is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in China for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly those harboring FGFR genetic alterations.
