Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lalikinogene sifuplasmid-gxfd (pGX6010) is a recombinant DNA plasmid encoding human interleukin-12 (IL-12) subunits alpha (p35) and beta (p40). Developed by Inovio, it is designed to act as an immune-enhancing adjuvant. It is co-formulated with doruxapapogene ralaplasmid (pGX3024), which encodes HPV-6 and HPV-11 E6/E7 antigens, to form the combination immunotherapy Voceryq (previously INO-3107). Voceryq was granted accelerated approval by the FDA in October 2026 for the treatment of recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) in adults to reduce the frequency of surgical papilloma excisions. Lalikinogene sifuplasmid-gxfd is administered intramuscularly followed by electroporation using the CELLECTRA 5PSP device, which facilitates cellular uptake of the plasmid, leading to local expression of IL-12 and the promotion of a robust, antigen-specific T-cell response against HPV-infected cells.
