**Lambdalina** is a brand name for a topical cream containing **40 mg/g lidocaine**, used as a local anesthetic to numb the skin prior to procedures such as needle sticks, blood draws, laser hair removal, and minor dermatological interventions. Lidocaine acts by blocking sodium channels in nerve membranes, preventing the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses, thereby inducing reversible loss of sensation in the applied area. Developed and marketed primarily in Europe (e.g., Spain), it is applied in doses of 2-3g over 1-2 cm² for 60 minutes prior to use, with a maximum daily dose of 5g in adults.[1][2][3][11]
