Landipirdine, also known by its code names SYN120 and RO 5025181, is an oral, small molecule drug that functions as a dual antagonist of the serotonin 5-HT6 and 5-HT2A receptors. It was initially originated by Roche and further developed by Biotie Therapies Corp. and Acorda Therapeutics. The drug was investigated for its potential to improve cognition and psychiatric symptoms in patients with Parkinson's disease dementia, but its development for cognition disorders and dementia, including Parkinson's disease dementia, has been discontinued.
