Overview
Larch resin + pennywort is a botanical combination therapy under development by the Verein für Krebsforschung (VfK) for the treatment of oncological wounds (open cancerous tumors) and poorly healing wounds. The formulation contains extracts from larch resin (*Larix decidua*) and pennywort (*Lysimachia nummularia*). It is being developed in two topical dosage forms: a cream and an emulsion spray. The therapy is intended to promote wound healing in complex clinical settings, such as malignant cutaneous lesions, though its specific molecular mechanism of action has not been detailed. It is currently in the preclinical stage of pharmaceutical development and formulation.
