Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**LASN01** is a fully human monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and blocks the interleukin-11 receptor (IL-11R), inhibiting IL-11 signaling to prevent fibrosis and inflammation in fibro-inflammatory diseases. Developed by Lassen Therapeutics, it has shown potent antifibrotic effects in preclinical models of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), reducing collagen deposition by over 80% and extracellular matrix remodeling more effectively than nintedanib, and in thyroid eye disease (TED), suppressing hyaluronic acid release, orbital fibroblast proliferation, and procollagen production comparably to teprotumumab. Phase 1 trials in healthy volunteers demonstrated good tolerability, dose-linear pharmacokinetics with an ~11-day half-life supporting monthly dosing, and >95% target engagement (pSTAT3 inhibition).
