Overview
Latopic is a line of specialized dermatological products developed by Biomed-Lublin (IBSS Biomed) for the management of atopic dermatitis and dry, sensitive skin. The core active ingredient is SUPERNATANT BARIERA®, a proprietary complex consisting of metabolites derived from clinically tested probiotic strains of *Lactobacillus* sp. These metabolites exhibit antimicrobial properties, specifically inhibiting the growth of *Staphylococcus aureus*, a pathogen frequently associated with the exacerbation of atopic skin symptoms. By suppressing pathogenic bacteria and supporting the skin's natural barrier function, Latopic products help reduce inflammation, itching, and dryness. The range includes an active cream, body emulsion, and washing gel, all formulated for use in infants, children, and adults.
