Overview

LB-200 is a compound being developed by Lixte Biotechnology as part of its LB-100 and LB-200 series for cancer treatment. Research on this series, including LB-200, was conducted under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the National Institute of Neurologic Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) from 2006 to 2013. The compounds were evaluated for their ability to inhibit brain tumor cell growth, with an initial focus on glioblastoma multiforme, and later expanding to other cancers such as medulloblastoma and neuroblastoma.
