Overview

LB-DTK-COV19 is an autologous T-cell therapy developed by LucasBio for the treatment of prolonged SARS-CoV-2 infection, particularly in moderately immunocompromised patients who are refractory to standard care. The product consists of T cells harvested from the patient, expanded ex vivo, and sensitized to SARS-CoV-2 antigens. Upon re-infusion, these antigen-specific T cells are intended to recognize and eliminate virus-infected cells, thereby reducing viral load and alleviating clinical symptoms. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for its safety and efficacy in clearing persistent viral infections.
