Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LB-P2D is an intravenously administered, non-pathogenic bacterial immunotherapy being developed by LISCure Biosciences in collaboration with Scripps Research for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic mechanism involves the activation of antigen-presenting cells, including dendritic cells, which subsequently induces the proliferation of tumor-specific T-cells. By stimulating both innate and adaptive immune responses, LB-P2D aims to convert immunologically cold tumors into hot tumors, thereby enhancing the body's ability to combat advanced cancers. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
