Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LB03 is a bivalent DNA aptamer therapeutic candidate under development by LinkBio for the treatment of acute venous thromboembolism (VTE). The drug functions by inhibiting specific protein-protein interactions (PPI) critical to the thrombotic process. By utilizing a bivalent architecture, LB03 aims to achieve higher binding affinity and improved inhibitory activity compared to traditional monovalent aptamers. As of 2024, the program is in the preclinical stage, progressing through early non-clinical studies.
