LB1410 is a recombinant humanized bispecific antibody that targets both PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) and TIM-3 (T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3), two immune checkpoint proteins expressed on T cells. By simultaneously binding to PD-1 and TIM-3, LB1410 blocks their respective immunosuppressive signaling pathways, thereby enhancing T cell activity against tumors. Preclinical studies have shown that LB1410 has superior T cell/dendritic cell activity and in vivo antitumor efficacy compared to the combination of separate TIM-3 and PD-1 antibodies. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and lymphoma, with ongoing clinical trials evaluating its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity, and preliminary antitumor activity[2][3][4][7].
