Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LB1410 + lenvatinib is a combination therapy developed by L & L Biopharma for the treatment of advanced malignancies, including anti-PD-1 resistant cervical cancer and renal cell carcinoma. LB1410 is a recombinant humanized bispecific antibody that simultaneously targets the immune checkpoints Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) and T-cell Immunoglobulin and Mucin-domain containing-3 (TIM-3). By blocking these pathways, LB1410 aims to reverse T-cell exhaustion and restore anti-tumor immune responses in patients who have become refractory to standard PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. Lenvatinib is a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) with potent anti-angiogenic properties, targeting Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptors (VEGFR1-3), Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptors (FGFR1-4), Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor alpha (PDGFRα), KIT, and RET. The combination approach is designed to synergistically enhance therapeutic efficacy by simultaneously modulating the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and inhibiting tumor angiogenesis.
