LB1901

LB1901 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Legend Biotech. It is designed to target malignant CD4+ T-cells for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory T-cell lymphoma (TCL), including peripheral T-cell lymphoma and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The therapy works by engineering a patient's own T-cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes the T-cell surface antigen CD4, which is commonly expressed on malignant cells in most TCL subtypes. Upon administration, these modified CAR-T cells bind to and induce selective toxicity in CD4-expressing tumor cells[1][2][5][7]. Clinical development has included phase 1 trials focused on safety, tolerability, and dose optimization.
