LB206 is a conditionally bivalent bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Centessa Pharmaceuticals. It targets both programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and CD3, functioning as a T-cell engager designed to selectively drive potent CD3 effector function activity in the tumor microenvironment while avoiding systemic toxicity. The drug leverages Centessa’s proprietary LockBody technology platform to enable localized immune activation against solid tumors. Its mechanisms of action include inhibition of PD-L1 (immune checkpoint blockade), stimulation of T lymphocytes via CD3 engagement, and induction of antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity[2][4][1]. As of the latest updates, LB206 is in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors[2][6].
