Overview

LB2403 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D), currently under development by Legend Biotech for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The therapy utilizes Legend's proprietary FasT CAR manufacturing platform, which significantly shortens the production time to approximately 24 hours, potentially enhancing T-cell fitness and reducing the vein-to-vein time for patients. GPRC5D is a validated target in multiple myeloma, showing high expression on malignant plasma cells with limited expression in normal tissues. LB2403 is designed to provide a potent anti-tumor response in patients who have failed prior lines of therapy, including those refractory to BCMA-targeted agents.
