Overview

LBAL is a biosimilar of Adalimumab, developed by LG Life Sciences. It is an anti-inflammatory agent primarily investigated for the treatment of active Rheumatoid Arthritis. Adalimumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) and blocks its interaction with p55 and p75 cell surface TNF receptors, thereby reducing inflammation.
