LBI-1103 is an advanced, first-in-class, second-generation taxane-based chemotherapy being developed by Austin Biosciences. As a small molecule chemotherapy, it is designed with an immediate-release formulation and incorporates drug resistance and targeting sensitizers to enhance therapeutic efficacy. The drug is currently in the pre-clinical stage, with animal testing for maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and dosing schedule optimization underway. LBI-1103 is being investigated for the treatment of multiple solid tumors, including prostate, breast, lung, head and neck, ovarian, and stomach cancers.
