Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**LBL-019 + anti-PD-1 antibody** is a combination immunotherapy consisting of LBL-019, a humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody targeting tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2), together with an anti-PD-1 antibody (various anti-PD-1 antibodies may be used in combination; studies reference blocking programmed death receptor-1/PD-1)[2][6]. LBL-019 specifically binds TNFR2 with high affinity, inhibiting the binding of TNF-alpha to TNFR2, leading to immune cell activation, expansion of effector T cells, and elimination of regulatory T cells (Tregs), thereby promoting antitumor effects[1][2][6]. Anti-PD-1 antibody blocks the PD-1 checkpoint, releasing inhibition of T cell activity and further enhancing antitumor immunity[2]. Preclinical studies demonstrate that the combination significantly suppresses tumor growth in cancer models[2]. Clinical trials are assessing safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy for advanced malignant tumors[2].
