Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LBL-051 is a novel tri-specific T-cell engager antibody designed to target CD19, BCMA (B-cell maturation antigen), and CD3. Developed using the LeadsBody platform, it is engineered to deplete a broad range of pathological B-cell populations by simultaneously binding to both CD19 and BCMA on B cells and engaging CD3 on T cells. This mechanism aims to stimulate cytotoxic T lymphocytes for immunologic cytotoxicity against autoreactive B cells, offering the potential for a more complete immune reset in autoimmune diseases compared to single-targeted therapies. The drug is being developed primarily for autoimmune disorders, with the goal of achieving superior efficacy and durability in treatment-resistant cases[1][2][6].
