Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LBL-054-TCE is a bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) antibody developed by Nanjing Leads Biolabs using its proprietary LeadsBody™ platform. It is designed to simultaneously target Cadherin 17 (CDH17), a tumor-associated antigen highly expressed in gastrointestinal malignancies, and the CD3 epsilon chain on T cells. By cross-linking these two targets, LBL-054-TCE recruits and activates T cells to selectively eliminate CDH17-positive tumor cells. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that the drug exhibits potent binding affinity for CDH17 with no cross-reactivity to other family proteins, and shows CDH17 expression-dependent tumor cell killing with minimal cytokine release. It is currently being investigated for the treatment of various gastrointestinal cancers, including colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers.
