Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**LBP-PA01** is an AI-designed, engineered six-bacteriophage cocktail from Locus Biosciences for selective treatment of antibiotic-resistant *Pseudomonas aeruginosa* infections. The product incorporates phages engineered to express CRISPR-Cas3 and is intended to kill *P. aeruginosa*, including biofilm-associated bacteria, through bacteriophage-mediated antibacterial activity. It is being advanced for *P. aeruginosa* hospital-acquired pneumonia and ventilator-associated pneumonia; NIAID funding supports a planned Phase 1b proof-of-concept study evaluating safety, efficacy, and dosing.
