Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LBT-6030 is a dual agonist of the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) receptors, developed by Longevity Biotech using its proprietary Hybridtide™ platform. This technology utilizes peptidomimetic scaffolds incorporating non-natural amino acids and structural modifications to the molecule's interior, resulting in significantly improved metabolic stability and durability compared to conventional peptide drugs. LBT-6030 is designed to treat metabolic conditions such as obesity and type 2 diabetes by mimicking the synergistic effects of natural incretin hormones on weight loss and glucose regulation. The Hybridtide™ platform allows for tunable affinity between the GLP-1 and GIP receptors, potentially optimizing the therapeutic profile for metabolic disorders.
