**LBZ-18** is a sponsor-designated traditional Chinese medicine extract developed by Guangzhou Baiyunshan Hanfang Modern Pharmaceutical for cancer-related fatigue in patients with tumors. The developer submitted LBZ-18 extract and its separate oral-emulsion formulation, LBZ-18 oral emulsion, as Chinese medicine Class 1.2 innovation-drug applications. The oral emulsion is intended under the traditional Chinese medicine functional indication of tonifying qi and strengthening the spleen, but no discrete molecular target or evidence-supported modern pharmacologic mechanism has been publicly disclosed.
