Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LC115 is an investigational vaginal live biotherapeutic product composed of 15 strains of *Lactobacillus crispatus*. It was designed to restore durable colonization by protective *L. crispatus* following antibiotic treatment for bacterial vaginosis, thereby supporting a vaginal microbiome associated with lower bacterial-vaginosis recurrence. LC115 was evaluated as a vaginal tablet after oral metronidazole in the randomized VIBRANT phase 1 study in the United States and South Africa.
