Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LDR2515 is a long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) agonist developed by Chengdu Xianyan Biotechnology, a subsidiary of HitGen. It is currently in Phase I clinical development for the treatment of obesity and overweight. As a GLP-1R agonist, LDR2515 mimics the action of the endogenous incretin hormone GLP-1, which regulates glucose metabolism and appetite. The drug is designed to promote weight loss by increasing satiety, reducing caloric intake, and slowing gastric emptying. The clinical program includes a Phase I randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study (CTR20260372) in China to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of single-dose subcutaneous injections in healthy and overweight or obese adult participants.
