Leap 1009 is a preclinical-stage, contextually-gated antibody being developed by Ability Biologics for the treatment of solid tumors. Developed using the proprietary AbiLeap™ platform—which combines generative artificial intelligence with in vitro screening—Leap 1009 is designed as a pH-sensing T-cell engager. This logic-gated mechanism is intended to restrict the antibody's activity to the acidic environment characteristic of the tumor microenvironment, thereby potentially enhancing therapeutic precision and reducing systemic toxicity. While its specific molecular targets and the exact types of solid tumors it addresses remain undisclosed, it represents a novel approach in immuno-oncology by focusing immune activation specifically at the site of disease.
