Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LEAPS is an early-stage technology developed by CEL-SCI Corporation, primarily known as a rheumatoid arthritis vaccine candidate. It is being developed for autoimmune and infectious diseases, specifically targeting the unmet needs of rheumatoid arthritis patients who do not respond to anti-TNF therapies. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has supported its development through a Phase II SBIR/STTR grant and selected it for their Commercialization Accelerator Program to facilitate its progression from preclinical stages to clinical studies and commercialization.
